Should I do private yoga or group yoga? And why?
Both private and group classes have their advantages. Which type of class is good for you really depends on your needs and expectations.
In a private class, you get all the teacher's attention, 100% of the time. A programme will be created to suit your own unique body and mind. This means you won't be doing things that are good for other people and not good for you. For example, a teacher usually walks into a group class already well prepared on what he or she will make the class do, without knowing specific circumstances, such as lower back injuries, one of the most common conditions. He/she may then instruct everyone to do high plank, or low plank, and hold it for 10 breaths, which might not help students with back pain. He/she may also instruct people to go into an inversion (shoulder stand, head stand, etc.) without knowing whether some of the students are going through their menses, or whether they have neck pain or low blood pressure. Not that he/she doesn't care. There isn't just enough time to take care of 20 people at a time. A private class will make sure that your problems are taken care of and that the type of yoga you do will improve your weaknesses and capitalise on your strengths. They will also take away the inevitable competitive nature of a group class. The only one you are comparing yourself against is your own self of yesterday.
That said, a group class also has it own advantages. In her book The Science of Yoga, Ann Swanson mentioned that the act of moving with a group and following the teacher activates mirror neurons. The mirror neuron system is a recently discovered network of nerves involved in emulation of movement and developing compassion. This is how yoga boosts your brain! Also, it could be super fun to do yoga with a friend or a group of people. It's play time!
If you have budget constraints, consider starting with a few private classes to get a strong foundation in yoga, and then join more affordable group classes. It is much easier to draw on a white piece of paper, than to erase what's already drawn to make a new piece of art.

What are the current class options?
Oh there are so many dimensions to this excellent question!
First, in terms of class setting, you can practice one-on-one with me (private), or with your friends (private group) or colleages (corporate yoga). These are my current Programmes on beeteeyogee.com. In addition, I currently offer group classes at Nami Yoga Studio in Tokyo, Japan; feel free to check out

Second, in terms of location, you can practice in-person at your location or online via Zoom. Contact me and we can arrange what works for us.
Third, what type of yoga class I offer depends on your needs! Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Yin Yang, Wall Yoga, focusing on particular areas of the body and the mind, feel free to head to the Programmes page for more information.
How do I pay for classes?
I currently offer class packs (pack of 1, 5 or 10 classes) for the Programme that you choose (one-on-one or private group). To purchase a class pack, head over to the
Class Packs page.

Where can I see my existing and past packages?
You can view your existing and past packages in the WIX app "My plans" section. Unfortunately, this information is currently not available for viewing on the website.
Where do I get Zoom link to my online classes?
A Zoom link will be communicated to you via email, Whatsapp or Line after you have booked your online class. You can also access this link in the WIX app "Upcoming" section.
How far in advance can I book my class?
You can book your class up to 14 days in advance.
When is the latest I can book a class?
Online and in-App booking will be closed 2 hours prior to the class start time. If you want to attend a class last minute, you can shoot me a message via Whatsapp, Line or email to see if there is a spot for you.
What if I need to cancel my class?
You can cancel your class bookings online in the "My Bookings" page on the website or in the "Upcoming" section in the Wix app. The following cancellation policy will apply when you book a class:
- For classes between 9am-11pm JST, the class will be forfeited if a cancellation is communicated less than 2 hours prior to class time.
- For early morning classes between 7am-9am JST, cancellations have to be made prior to 11pm the day before to avoid forfeit.
How do I know if my booked class has been cancelled?
Sometimes, due to some unforeseen circumstances, I may need to cancel classes. If you have booked the class, you will be informed via email or Whatsapp immediately. Your sessions will be refunded. You will also notice the cancelled class is removed from your "My bookings" or "Upcoming" section in the Wix app.
Where do I find class schedule? How do I book a class?
To see which slots are available for you to take on, visit the Programmes page and choose your desired Programme (private one-on-one or private group class), and follow through with the booking process. You'll be able to see the Booking Calendar.

Where can I see my past and upcoming bookings?
You can view your past and upcoming bookings both on this website and in the WIX app "My plans" section. Sign in to your account and you'll be able to see your account's information.
